Hi my lovelies!
With Valentine’s Day creeping up on us, the gift hunt is officially on. While it’s tempting to hit up those big retailers or mega online stores, there’s something so much more magical about shopping small. Not only do you find something truly one-of-a-kind, but you’re also giving some love back to the incredible local businesses and artisans who make all the magic happen.
I've been thinking about what small businesses are on my watch list and I'd like to share them.
1. Ayva Lashes - They are DIY home eyelash extensions. They save you time, money and last up to 14 days.
2. Ezmio Beauty - No idea how this brand isn't stocked in stores like Mecca, Sephora, and Priceline. They have press on nails, at home gel polish nail kits, gel nail wraps.. so so convenient.
3. Ice Glow - You probably have come across her TikTok account. A serum that you freeze and apply directly to your skin for a hydrating glow. Pretty handy to get your skin V Day ready.
4. High End - A luxury resale marketplace. For a naughty purchase before the big day.
5. Sasha Therese - Some of the HOTTEST designs I've laid eyes on!!
6. K Juliet - Named after her rabbit King Julian, Chloes robes are 100% cotton and are short sleeved. You can still wear a robe in Aussie summer without becoming sweaty Betty. Pretty cool.
I feel like there are certain benefits purchasing from smaller businesses. Things like a more personal touch can go a long way with people. What do you think?
These businesses are often run by passionate individuals who pour their heart and soul into their craft, and it shows in the quality and uniqueness of their products. By choosing to shop small, you’re not just getting something more personal—you’re also directly supporting entrepreneurs who are making a real impact on their communities.
I even snagged the funniest V-day gift for my husband on Etsy—another fab platform for finding unique treasures.
So, what small businesses have you been loving lately, what should we keep our eye on? Drop your faves below, let’s share the love!
With love and gratitude,
Dani xx
