Many life updates happening here. I will warn you this blog is also my emotional outlet so be prepared to know a lot about my life. Firstly, I have received so much positive feedback the last week in terms of people purchasing for the first time. I am truely grateful to you all, as I know there are many other businesses out there who are much bigger than Viktoria Green - it means so much to me that you trust the brand (or me) to take a leap of faith. I will continue to ensure I don't disappoint!
This past week I met with my product designer on a new product I want to bring onto the market probably towards the second half of the year. I sketched it myself (awfully I might add) & one day I will be able to share the sketch with you all so we can have a good laugh. For now, I will leave all sketching to the professionals. It's a product that doesn't exist on the market (that we know of) so I am hoping it is received well by the Aussie market. Let the sampling begin! I will upload teasers and info as much as I can on socials.
My husband has also just launched his Rugby League Academy. He has been training kids quietly for over a year but now its officially open to the public. Balancing Viktoria Green and League Lab has been quite a struggle, to say the least, but we’re both incredibly passionate about what we do. If you are not familiar with my background, I am married to ex-NRL player Josh Mansour. If you are not a footy fan I'm certain you have come across at least 1 shirtless picture of him in the last 13 years. I love that man.
It’s an exciting time for both of us, and I can’t wait to see what the year holds. I think you need to have an incredibly strong drive to start your own ventures. There have been so many ups and downs. I have cried myself to sleep on more than one occasion, believe me. Maybe next weeks blog post can be about self doubt!! Mental toughness is key because there are going to be people out there praying for your downfall. Don't give up on your dreams, no matter how life looks in any point in time.
